The Ultimate TH11 Defensive Base Layout

Unlock the 3rd hero in town hall 11. This is one of the most interesting town halls on Clash of Clans, but it requires a lot of practice to make the transition from TH10 to TH11 base correctly.
Speaking of TH11 base, it’s not the easiest town hall, but it’s not the hardest either. As I always say, if you choose a good TH11 base layout, you can really make some great def.
How to choose your th11 base
If you’re in a clan league with your TH11, you need to see what you’re up against. If you’ve got a big clan with only TH11s like you, take an anti 3-star base (all bases can take 3 stars, the anti 3-star name means it’s hard to get the 3rd star). That way, you’re pretty sure you’re less likely to get perfed.
You can also take a risk and use a TH11 base anti 2 stars! But with the gear you have now, the 2nd star is easy to get.
TH11 base
So I’d advise you to start with an anti 3-star base. If you’re up against a weaker clan, i.e. you’re up against HDV 10s, then I’d recommend a 2-star anti base, as it’s going to be more difficult with a small town hall to get the HDV if it’s well-centered.
The best TH11 bases
There’s no such thing as a miracle layout that will defend every time! But you can plan for that.
The two most frequently played composites in TH11 are witches and electro dragons, so we need to find layouts that defend best against these two composites. To counter these compounds, you need a layout that makes the Electro dragons turn well. For Hell’s Towers, you have the choice between multiple or mono. The difference between a multiple Hell Tower is that it targets many troops at once, which is very useful against witches and very effective against electro-dragons, using the blower and a good clan castle to slow down the troops.
I have a preference for Th11 bases that protect their hell towers well, because they’re not accessible to troops, even if sometimes the choice is difficult when it comes to making a choice to give the eagle (that it’s more accessible).
And you’ve got other bases that are more about protecting the eagle, and those kind of bases are great too.
Don’t choose these TH11 bases!
We offer just about every kind of village, as we often have to renew our layout Th11 base. But layouts that aren’t too large aren’t really the best bases! Given that we now have plenty of spells to either hide troops or freeze them. Strategists on this type of village are really enjoying themselves.
Avoid villages where there are too many defenses outside the walls, as this is really not cool against witch golem compos.
Stay in the middle!

TH best CC in TH11 base
The best Clan Castle at the moment (the current meta) is the super gargoyles, which allow you to do a lot of damage to your opponent, but from a distance, meaning that the super gargoyles will be out of reach of your opponent’s troops.
Many an attack has failed because of this clan castle! especially if there’s an AQH in front of her, the queen will pay dearly if she doesn’t freeze them. This way, your opponent loses a freeze spell, which is all to your advantage.
Clan castles in TH11
You’ve got Molosse + (complement) One of my favorite clan castles, because it slows down the troops and keeps the queen archers busy. But the disadvantage of the Molosse is that air troops can’t take it out, so it can only be detected by ground troops.
Then there are dragons or electro-dragons in CC, but these are the classics.
Heroes in Th11 base
How many TH11 players haven’t upgraded their heroes from TH10 to TH11 base? There are a lot of you!
Heroes play a vital role. You can’t make an attack without heroes or with premature heroes. Your attacks on a max or near-max base will be …. (hum)
If you have small heroes, it’s going to be easy to kill them during a defense, and your TH11 base is never going to hold with all these details. We always think that we’re going to miss on attacks without heroes, but we rarely think about defense. It’s all these little things that make your village stand up better than the others!
Farming in TH11 base
Before the advent of super troops, I used to farm with a good minor AQH! Then, when I didn’t have the queen, I’d go full minor with healing spells! But things have changed, and now there are two ways to farm faster.
The first is full super goblin, which is really strong and targets resources directly (that’s what goblins are all about).
But if you don’t want to lose trophies and farm well, I’d recommend full super barbarian, it’s so strong and often raises trophies…
The only drawback is that it doesn’t specifically target resources, unlike goblins.
After that, if you only want to keep your black elixir for Up troops and not use it to activate super troops. I recommend full minor or aqh minor.
